Fall Mini Sessions FAQ

Fall Minis are perfect for getting some updated family pictures (and that perfect Christmas Card photo) without having to invest in a full session. Let’s be real, a lot of kiddos can’t handle more than 10-20 minutes in front of the camera anyway!

Although I would say my main thing is weddings, I definitely enjoy those family portraits and ALWAYS take advantage of doing mini sessions in the fall. My two favorite go-to spots are Trinity Park and the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. I definitely prefer Trinity to get all those fall leaves falling. I’ll also share a secret with you… I have a special spot that is DRIVE UP! Yep, that’s right. No walking long distances to get to a specific location. You can park right next to where we are doing the session and then hop right back in your car. Its perfect for on-the-go families (and perfect for those families that tend to run late- no judgement)!

Here are some common FAQ about our Fall Minis:

Can we bring our dog/pet?

Yes! We love pets! Bring them all!

How many people can be apart of the session?

We don’t limit the amount of people but for best results, we recommend no more than 6-8 people.

Should we bring anything?

Just yourselves is needed but feel free to bring any props you would like to use. The only thing we won’t allow is any kind of confetti.

Can I use this as a couple session?

Yes! You don’t have to have kids! You can be single, a couple, or even just your pets if you’d like! If you are engaged, you could also use this as an engagement session.

What should we wear?

You can wear anything you would like of course, but I recommend primarily solid colors (too many patterns can look too busy), and using colors that compliment each other rather than everyone in the family wearing the same color.
